We are a grass roots citizens organization founded to help all Americans, who like ourselves, are at the mercy of the credit card companies. We are devoted to leveling the playing field that now exists between these companies (the banks) and the American people. WE NEED YOUR HELP! These banks created our present economic collapse. They have received billions of dollars of our money with NO accountability. They are notifying us that interest rates are going up in 2010, even though present day federal interest rates are practically zero. SO, they pay little or nothing for the use of the money they loan us, but are gouging us with ridiculous rates.

The Situation

We must free ourselves from interest rates that are up to 30% or more, fees that are $30 and up per occurrence. For many years, there were USURY laws that set the maximum legal rate of interest a lender could charge. They were generally in the 5% to 6% per annum range. Under these laws, the courts would not enforce collection of high interest rate debts and, as a penalty to the lender would void the loan. Usury laws no longer exist. These laws that existed to protect US have been repealed and now the banks can LEGALLY practice usury. This is a classic example of government action that came at the expense of the people, not to benefit the people. WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Under the guise of credit card reform, this abuse continues. Instead of going one day to the next, they must now give you 45 days notice before they put the gun to your head. All they left out of this alleged reform was your death certificate.
Without bringing interest rates down, there is no reform. Don't be fooled by the reform label. WE NEED YOUR HELP!
